About Kinetic
Kinetic Technology Solutions is a corporate computer training firm that provides primarily in-person hands-on training and technology consulting services. The company was founded about 25 years ago by President Connie Rooney. Kinetic works mainly with Oregon-based small businesses, corporations, and government agencies. Training facility rental is another big part of its income base.
Our current strategic direction is grow the services we provide, including computer training, application development, consulting, and facility rental to organizations of all sizes. We specialize in the design, development, delivery, and ongoing management of corporate training programs and support services. We have had good results in expanding our software migration training programs (Outlook, Sharepoint, and Office 2007) for state and local governments.
Kinetic currently operates with fewer than 20 employees. Our organizational structure is very flat, with each employee feeling equal ownership in the company’s future. Turnover is very low at Kinetic, and it feels very much like a family. Through this expansion project, our goal is to keep the company small, nimble, and tightly-knit.
